To our Members,

Thank you for your continued support of Orcas Spa & Athletics. We would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of some changes that will soon be taking place here.

Within the next few months, we will be making continued improvements to the facility, increasing the value of your membership as well as your enjoyment of its use. Here is a summary of what you can expect:


Group Ride – An indoor cycling class, giving you another option for cardio training. See the enclosed flyer for a description of this dynamic group class.
Cardio Theater – Our cardio equipment will be relocated to the room adjacent to the pool, currently “Shapes”. New equipment will make it possible to personally plug in a headset and listen to the television of your choice. High Definition televisions will play various news and entertainment stations and occasional feature length movies.
FreeMotion Equipment – FreeMotion has revolutionized the fitness industry with integrated functional training equipment. The combined swivel pulleys and cable travel allow you to train in real-life movements. Requiring little to no adjustments, FreeMotion’s simplicity and versatility make it ideal for first-time and advanced users.
Jazzercise Lite - Fitness that’s invigorating, not intimidating! This 60-minute class combines moderate aerobics with exercises designed to improve your strength, balance, and flexibility. Whether you’re a senior, newcomer, pregnant, or prefer low impact, you can’t go wrong with this popular light version of the original Jazzercise program.

Also, a price increase will take effect on February 1st, 2007 raising the monthly rate from the current $50 per month per member to $54 per month per member. This price increase will not affect any current members. Orcas Athletics appreciates the long-term support of its members and will never raise members’ existing rates as long as each member renews his membership within 30 days of expiration.

Finally, we’d like to invite you to a special event called Amnesty Night, which will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. One night, and one night only at our Amnesty Night event, bring a friend who enrolls that night and receive one of the following:

$150 in ActivTrax personal training

A $150 gift card for Spa services of your choice, retail products or a combination thereof

Three months added to your membership
