| Should I make reservations for my treatments? Yes, either call or visit the spa to make reservations at your earliest convenience. Appointments are reserved with a credit card. Please provide complete contact information so that we can reach you if necessary, Please also specify which massage modality you desire during the booking process. Is there a limit to the number of treatments I should plan in a day? You can have as many as you have time for. Our spa receptionists will suggest the best order for your treatments. What if I need to cancel a Spa Reservation? We hope you do not have to cancel. To avoid charges, please honor our 24-hour advance notice cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to full charge. When should I arrive? We suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reserved time. Please understand that your treatment will end on time so the next guest will not be inconvenienced. Feel free to arrive early or linger after your appointment to enjoy our sauna, pool and hot tub. Please shower prior to use. Can I bring my valuables? Small day use lockers with padlocks are available. We do not assume any liability for valuables. What should I wear? Undress to your level of comfort. We will provide you with a robe and slippers for your treatments. During treatments, our therapists are trained to drape you appropriately for privacy. If you prefer greater privacy, a bathing suit or disposable undergarment may be worn. How can I ensure a wonderful Spa experience? Communicate with us! Talking with your therapists will help them to customize your services to ensure your maximum enjoyment. In addition, when you are scheduling your appointment, please discuss specific preferences with our spa reception. This will help the receptionist identify the treatment and therapists who will best meet your needs and make your spa experience exceptional. Can my children join me? With the permission of a parent or legal guardian, absolutely. Massage, facial and body treatments have a minimum age requirement of 10 years of age and nail services may be enjoyed by anyone over 5 years of age. May I request a male or female therapist? Yes, however, we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular therapist. All of our therapists are trained to ensure your comfort at all times. Is there a service charge? All treatments and services are not subject to sales tax in the state of Washington. Gratuity for exemplary service is greatly appreciated. How can I enjoy the Orcas Spa experience at home? Feel free to spend time in our lounge and mini boutique. We are proud to make available to our customers the locally made, organic products used in our treatments and services. Do you offer Pregnancy massage? Yes. Our staff is happy to assist you in choosing services that are safe and comfortable for your stage of pregnancy. Can you accommodate groups? Yes, we are happy to make our beautiful facilities available to groups, including events and wedding parties. Please contact us well in advance of your arrival date so that special arrangements can be made. What if I have special Health Considerations? For your safety and to equip our therapist to provide you with excellent service, Orcas Spa requires each customer to fill out a Health History Form. Please notify us of medical or physical conditions, i.e., surgery, injury, high blood pressure, pregnancy, allergies or skin conditions. Orcas Spa is a two-story facility, but we do have entry-level treatment rooms available for all services. |
